The fun doesn't stop once you get the keys to the apartment. Quite the opposite.
Actually getting the keys was the hard part. After a long process of arranging documents, we finally had everything ready for Monday morning. Since it's a holiday, there was only supposed to be one person there, whom we were guaranteed would be there and take care of us.
I kind of expected this, but she wasn't there. This would traumatize some people, but not Libby. She's brilliant and gutsy--looks the guys phone number up in the white pages, calls him and tells him that we are waiting for him! Needless to say, he didn't like that, but it's his fault for not doing what he said he would.
We got the keys!

Maybe I like this picture just because of Lebron in the background. As you can see, every direction is an expansive viny network of steel.
So far we absolutely love New York--most of the time. Hopefully this will never turn in to a depressing rant on NY. I think people can get into those moods if they just look for anything wrong with the city. That's pretty easy to do. But we have had an amazing time so far, and there's a lot of beauty as well.
