3.3.10-the theory of needing to go out more...

so i started reading a new book today, "the theory of moral sentiments" by adam smith. all the other books must wait. i didn't completely want to read this book after getting suckered into buying it by border's amazing coupon deals. and i think the dover book cover furthered that sentiment. but i figured i had to read it since i bought it.

and the first 22 pages are absolutely incredible! i chose this book because i wanted to delve into economics. as the father of modern economics, or atleast a major contributer to capitalism, adam smith is either a hero or a hater. i was intrigued by the fact that, before he wrote 'the wealth of nations', which earns him his reputation, he wrote this book, on 'the human capacity for benevolence'.

we'll see how it goes. i think the first 20 pages have helped me figure out alot about myself as a social person. high school makes more sense..

due to yesterday's theme on having a general lack of focus, contributed to 'the internets', i'm trying to change my focus from 'take more pictures', to 'take better pictures'. sadly, i delayed this until it was dark out, and i didn't hire a model, so this guy had to do. ever since he lost his cane, he's been struggling with an identity crisis.

just summited everest?

the gnome hitler?

dance skillz?

or high-fashion model? strike a pose.

sorry if that wasn't funny to anyone else. it's my blog, and i'm in a weird mood. and, this guy really does make me laugh.

  4. hahahahahaha! Poor Ry is here suffering on the couch and I'm laughing. I loved those pics Mark - way good.

The wealth of nations is a great book, I read that in my Econ class. After reading books like that you really come to realize how many people in this world really aren't rational, if you know what I mean.

Anyways, we love you I am going to show Ry this post I think it will make him laugh.
