Lib and I went on a fantastic bike ride tonight along the Henry Hudson trail from about 95th down to around 12th with some friends. It was the first time we had biked on the Hudson, and was a near perfect (slightly cold evening). It was really fun to be biking again, and to spend time with each other and with our friends. We ate at this really cool burger joint that was outdoors.
Lib was amazing today--Thursdays are her days off, and she spent so much of the day cleaning, doing laundry, and tons of those fun things. The last couple of weeks have been especially great with her. She finished up her midterms, and we have had so much fun almost every night, enjoying life and the city and each other. We were talking last night, and, as hard as it is to believe, we can't imagine what life would be like for us right now outside of new york city.
Such a sweet post!! More posts like this, more posts! These pics were awesome. So glad you guys had a great ride.
ReplyDeleteLooks like that will be a memorable evening. Memorable and cold. That guy standing next to the river looks like he's dressed for January! Nice looking restaurant, yet it sounds like you didn't actually eat there--as you said you ate outside. Did you stop to use their restrooms? For us who live in lands of open spaces, it's surprising that you can find places to ride bikes. Enjoy! Dad M
