Tonight was one of those nights that makes me never want to leave New York. The weather here has been perfect-sunny and 65 degrees! After a great morning run and a good day trying to find work, Lib and I went back to the Wicked raffle to try our luck. It was the third time this week. There were around 300 names in the raffle (most requesting 2 tickets), and Lib's name was the last to be called for two tickets! It was super exciting. Not only did we get tix for only $26 each, they were 2nd row!!! We scored big time, and it was the most incredible show ever. More on the show at larkandmiller.blogspot.com.
Like I said, the weather has been phenomenal, and the grass is starting to turn green. The top picture was taken right in front of our apartment, looking across to central prk. We are so lucky!
Also, there was so much potential in the first photo, with the incredible light and all. I was in a big rush, though, and missed the shot, didn't like the composition, and didn't capture the light well at all. Have to go back tomorrow for it!
Ryan told me you got tickets!! So amazing :) I love that musical I have listened to the CD probably 15 times but have never seen it. You guys are so lucky.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are doing New York so well!! I am so happy you're having such a great time. You need to update us on your wife, how is she liking her nursing program? Keep us updated on the job hunting. Any fun potential photography jobs?
I really like the park pictures! Striking images. Dad...not Leanna.
