Chinatown was definitely more challenging to shoot than I anticipated. Maybe it's the sensory overload or the billions of people around, but whatever it was, it took us awhile to really get a feel for how to take interesting photos. In the end, here were a few of my favorites from Chinatown.


Canal Street (below): walk around long enough on Canal, and you'll start to tune in to how many men and women are quietly whispering in your ear "Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada" - if you're looking for one of these for a fraction of the price, these people are your best bet.

ReplyDeleteHow do they do it? You know, the street vendors? Seems like everything we know about economies of scale would say that they shouldn't be able to make it. Is Albertsons afraid of the traffic? Or, is an Albertsons sister company wholesaling for these street vendors? Mark, go back and ask them where they get their veggies.
