3.12.10-Cheesecake

Went on a short date tonight with Lib to get some cheesecake at Eileen's Special Cheesecake in SoHo. We had a great time talking on the train ride there...so much that we missed our stop and went all the way to Brooklyn! But, we got to ride the subway above ground, overlooking the river, which I hadn't done before. I liked the lighting that it created. I guess you have to spend enough time in the subways to appreciate it?

The cheesecake was a 3.5/5. It WAS good, but pretty expensive. Definitely didn't beat the Cheesecake Factory's tuxedo cheesecake.

Lib is a little bored with my pictures, and challenged me to do something new. Of course, she only gave me about 2 minutes to try something new, because it was cold and rainy! Here's what I came up with.

We also ran into Eastern Mountain Sports (I think that's what it is called), and tried on some sweet rock climbing shoes, and found out about good places to go climbing this summer!

  1. EMS is a great store, amazing how some things on the east coast are so much bigger. EMS stores are everywhere, and the time I've spent out there I've gathered that really are big Pepsi fans.

Loved catching up on your posts! You make me laugh, in a very good way. Your fashion post brought a smile to my face. Maybe you can track down the Sartoralist and see if he needs any help. He's in New York most of the time. The metro ride out of Brooklyn is pretty. We really enjoyed that when we were there. Have you and Lib bought much food in China town? It seems like it would be a good affordable place to pick up fresh produce.
